The making of

From a map box
to a game world

It began with one question — what if any real city could become a world you play in? Not an approximation: a faithful one, with the same hills, the same streets, the same skyline. Monaco is where we started.
The process

The raw data

Every world starts as numbers. We begin with a real elevation map of the land — the exact shape of every hill, valley and cliff.

The land, stylised

That elevation becomes a relief you can feel — a clean, low-poly landscape rebuilt at true 1:1 scale.

The coastline

Then the sea, carved precisely to the real shoreline — the coves, the capes and the harbours exactly where they belong.

The city drops in

Every building takes its place at its real footprint and orientation. The unmistakable shape of Monaco emerges.
